I would like to nominate myself for Society Vice Chair/Secretary and LGBT+ Rep. I believe this will give me a chance to give back to the community we have and help form it into a powerful liberation society. As a person with a strong outspoken nature and strong opinions on different factors I believe I will be able to bring diversity and an open minded nature to the society. To be able to represent the LGBT Society would mean that I will be able to staunchly make sure that the community is not left behind and becomes a key organisation in the University. Also having this position means I will be able to enact many of the ideas that I have for the society and also help members to have their own ideas be enacted. This means that I will attempt to make sure the society will be full of various events and socials throughout the year. I will also be able to listen to all members and help to give them advice or guidance if needed on any subjects I have knowledge in or point them in the right direction for help. Overall I wish to make the society more dynamic, fun and people friendly by being able to give all members a chance at voicing their opinions on ideas and opportunities for the society.
