Governance

The University of Wolverhampton Students' Union is your Students' Union. We're here to help you get the most out of your time at Wolverhampton, whether that is on your course, on your campus, or in your community.

Here's how we're run:

Constitution

Your Students' Union is governed by a Constitution. This is made up of the Memorandum and Articles of Association, Bye-Laws, associated regulations and Codes of Conduct. Together, these documents make up the Constitution of the Students' Union.

Bye-Laws, Regulations, and Codes of Conduct

Bye-Laws of the University of Wolverhampton Students' Union are currently under review.

Charity and Company Accounts

As your Students' Union, with status as a company and a charity, we're required to report our finances to the Charities Commission and Companies House each year. Our primary funder is the University of Wolverhampton, who funds the bulk of our services through a block grant. Almost all Students' Unions in the United Kingdom are funded in a similar fashion. We also generate income from the Walsall SU Lounge and Business Development, the profits of which are put straight back into services we run for you.

Our financial year runs from 1 August-31 July.
