The Student Voice

Subscribe to be a Course Rep

During your role as a Course Representative you will be expected to attend:

Course Rep Training Sessions

The training session will be held by your Students’ Union at the beginning of the academic year. The purpose of this is to help you settle into your role and get an in-depth understanding of how to handle different situations effectively.

Faculty Council Committees

Held twice a year. The students can voice any general concerns about their student experience at the University, may that be course related, about their library experience, computer facility or even food prices on campus.

Course Committees

Held once every semester. This meeting will give you the opportunity to represent the students on your course and voice any issues that need addressing to better the students experience.

Drop-in sessions arranged by your Faculty Rep

The drop-in sessions will be at the Faculty rep’s discretion. This will be your opportunity to inform the Faculty rep of any on-going issues that need attention.

If at any time during your role you feel the need of further assistance please do not hesitate to contact the Student Engagement team who will be happy to help.
