My name is my name. During my time at Wolves Uni I have been the Students Union Environmental Officer, as well as holding various positions in different societies, including current chair of UoW Stand Up To Racism.

Josh's promises

1. Improve student recognition by working with the University and external agencies to improve awareness of society events.
2. Build positive relationships between officer trustees and the members of the Students Union by re-instating the SU bar in the City Campus.
3. Raise awareness of relevant issues and campaign on areas of importance, particularly making the University green and carbon neutral.
4. Ensure proper democratic procedure is upheld in the Students Union, making sure all staff are held to account to improve student experience.
5. Create greater awareness of, and engagement with the Students Union, promoting a safe community space for all students.

More information....

1. I will work to enhance society work, using the Student Union's social media to better promote events, and creating promotional spaces around campuses.
2. Many Students have mentioned they want the SU bar back. I would have it reinstated; hosting pub-quiz's, cheap socials and alcohol-free nights.
3. I would particularly focus on making the University green, addressing the climate emergency and setting groundwork for becoming a zero carbon university.

The students union should an integral part of great university experience, and that is what I want to bring to Wolves Uni. Lets work together to bring life back to the SU and make sure the SU is run for students - like it should be!
