Overview

The Family Harvest Fun Day will be taking place on Wednesday 25 October 2017 from 11am - 3pm in the Courtyard near Millennium City Building, City Campus.

Activities include (including activities for children): 
- Make a mini-scarecrow
- Make Autumn moon jars
- Create a leaf bookmark
- Get arty with apple/potato print pictures
- Decorate pumpkins
- Decorate a biscuit in an Autumnal theme
- Take part in a sack race
- Have a go at the harvest obstacle course
- Have a go at bobbing apples
- Purchase some Autumnal soup bags with a menu card and have a go at creating this at home
- Warm up with some Autumnal soup
- Buy handmade cakes
- Hunt the scarecrows and receive a small gift at the end of the trail
- Decorate a pot and plant the seeds to take home and watch them grow - how green are your fingers!
- Balloon modeller
- Face painter
- Didi Dance activity - running from 1 - 1:30pm and 2 - 2:30pm.

There will also be a seasonal and children's menu in the Courtyard Kitchen as well as the Nursery children's harvest display in the Courtyard.

We'll also be hosting a collection point in the Courtyard to donate items to the charity food bank, organised through the Chaplaincy. Please donate non-perishable goods, such as tinned food, dried food, etc... which will be gratefully received.
