Describe Yourself In 3 Words: Friendly, Approachable & Committed

Why should students vote for you & how would you change their student experience for the better?:

I am myself a mature student with plenty of life experience. I feel that I could excel in this role and give students and parents all the support and advice they may require in a professional and empathatic manner.

As a second year psychology student I have already built up a very good role with the rest of the cohort and often get approached for advice or assistance with problems, either with the course or personal problems, and I am more than willing to help anyone if within my remit.

I completed a level one Basic Counselling Skills Course before attending this University,  which gave me a valuable insight into the correct ways to interact with people of all ages.

I would be the person that either the student or parent could approach at any time, with a friendly happy face and a smile, which often goes a long way when trying to make the individual feel at ease.

For the last year I have been assisting my colleague in running the Wolverhampton Psychology Society which has involved organising guest speakers, fund raising and event planning which has been very successful due to our hard work and commitment.
