School of Pharmacy Updates

Hey guys,

I hope your all doing well mentally and physically!

As the year is coming to an end we are trying our best to close off all actions we had this year in order to start fresh next academic year. 

Some of these acions are about timetabling which we have always had issues with them and how we can make sure that everyone gets a personalised one to stop students missing important sessions.

The engagement is not that great especially due to being online so we are working on what we can do as a university to improve that, whether its changing technique of teaching or adding fun activities etc. 

We are also trying to get to know what next academic year will be like if it will be a combination ( online and in univerisity)!

I will keep you updated.

little update; it might be coming up to your last couple of week of assessments however that does not mean we stop working for you and try and get the best experience.

it was a year full of many successes, i will still be working on the council minutes to ensure everything is closed up for the next academic year.

there was a course councel meetiung that took place and many of your issues were raised, such as timetbaling,course interaction and many others.

please keep providing feedback to your course reps even if the academic year is nearly over!

i just wanted to come on here and let you guys know that i am doing my best to increase contact hours time. we all have a lot of stress on us and we need all the help we can get. this is the time to work hard and get more time to learn and understand things.

i have dealt with some road blocks this semster. i have this theory i always place infront of me, its more of like if i do not get what i want it is because i did not put my 100: into it or the effort needed to get the outcome. sometimes that can be as small as writing the email in more detail or having little notes to remind me of why i am doing this and what i want to reach for the students benefit. i want you to know that i work hard to provide the best esperience that you can get. i do not back down easily and i am your voice.

I am working for you to make sure that if this horrible virus gets to you or affects your loved ones  that there is some comprimisation that can be made for the assignments you have to do.

it is been such a long and stressful time since covid and you have been under a lot of pressure to perform so well. 

things will change! just keep going and hold on!

we will get through this!

I am so happy to be blogging again and letting you guys know what i have been doing all this time and where i have been hiding-  your course reps are doing such a great job in being your voice and taking up your concerns. 

I have made sure that lecturers give you good feeback and ways to improve.

That any COVID related topics have been covered and answers to all your queries whether it be accomidartion, buses or the university facilities such as libraries. 

I am working on getting students what they paid for which is lots more xontact time and teaching. also, leta get some extra help dont you think.

I will update you on eveything that goes on and be very transparent with you.

Since uni has stopped face to face teaching, many of you have messaged me worried about the approach of assignments!
