School of Social, Historical and Political Studies Updates

Hey Folks!

I hope you are all doing well. I have a few interesting projects I am working on from within the Student's Union in the pipeline which I will make you aware of nearer the time so please watch this space! Hope you are all keeping well and your studies are also coming along nicely.

I have been working again today, so here is a quick update:

• I have read through and checked my latest e-mails relating to student issues and I am now all caught up on these.

• I have read through the latest Coronavirus updates from the University ready to pass this information onto students as and where necessary.

• I have checked through the Microsoft Teams chat channel for any messages relating to student issues. I am now all caught up on this. 

• I have contacted some of the various Student WhatsApp groups I am a member of to make students aware that I am working today and available to assist if anyone has any issues or concerns. I have heard nothing as of yet and have not been made aware of any issues.

• I have contacted the Course Rep. WhatsApp group that I am in to check in with the reps and see if there is anything I can help with. 

• I have accepted an invitation to the upcoming drop-in session on Thursday for the students to attend. Hope to see you there!

• I have started doing research for the Trailblazers initiative we are looking at opening up to students - watch this space!

• I have posted a message to the Microsoft Teams Channel for Course Reps. Reminding them that I am available for contact should they need anything from me. I have also posted my work contact e-mail should there be anthing they would like to discuss more privately.
