About Volunteering

Welcome to Wolves Students’ Union’s volunteering service! There are so many benefits that students can gain through volunteering – increased well-being, making new friends and gaining new skills and experience that are highly prized by prospective future employers. However, we recognise that our students have many commitments outside of their studies such as part-time work, childcare and caring responsibilities. That is why our volunteering opportunities are based on short-term projects so you can have the benefits of volunteering whilst getting involved with an opportunity that fits in with your life!

Look out for the feed on the left of this page to find out more about our upcoming projects and to apply. If none of our current volunteering opportunities appeal, why not Build Your Own Project?
You can find further details of how to do this in the Build Your Own Project Guide.

You can still apply for more traditional, community-based volunteering opportunities can be found on the Volunteer Central site. We can support you in your applications through advice and training. See our training pages for information about our Introduction to Volunteering Workshops. If you have any queries relating to volunteering then please email us.
