February marks LGBT+ History Month in the UK. At the University of Wolverhampton, we are proud to embrace diversity and the wide range of perspectives and experiences it brings with it.
Our LGBTQ+ staff and students are an important part of the diversity that makes the University of Wolverhampton and the Students’ Union a special place to work, study and grow.
This February, we join LGBT+ History Month in celebrating our LGBTQ+ staff and students, and the contributions LGBTQ+ people make to our society.
A programme of events, put together via partnership working between the Students’ Union and University offer an array of activities for staff and students to get involved with.
From mental health workshops, to social mixers with drag queen entertainment, this month is filled with something for everybody and aims to create the opportunity for all to celebrate equality, regardless of gender or sexual identity.
The full programme of events can be found at wolvesunion.org/lgbt.
