During November I have orgainised a wide range of events in conjunction with Well@wolves, societies and WLV Gym for wellbeing month that helps with your mental and physical wellness.

With the help of the Well@Wolves cordinator we were able to put on  Look After Your Mate training where attendees learned how to spot any signs that may indicate their friends are struggling and how to look after their own and their friends wellbeing. With the help of the Mind Muffins society we were able to hold the Stick it to the Stigma event which was the self-care workshop, attendees listened to inspirational speaker Lorna from Beat eating disorder charity who spoke about her overcoming her disorders and offered self-care tips. People also decorated their own self-care box.

Working with the gym we created WLV challenge week which coinsided with This Girl can week. We had a couple of try it out sessions where people who attended took part in dodgeball and/or ultimate frisbee.  At the end of the week we had the WLV Glow event, the gym was nicely lit with UV lights whilst people played netball, badminton and basketball. This week of events was really well recieved and were really fun but that was definately enough exercise for myself to last the year!

Disney Society, Band Society and ACS, Mature Student Society all worked with me and held events during wellbing month, so thank you for being involved.

Me and Aida worked with Student Support and Wellbeing and created the LGBT+ mental health and wellbeing drop in starting from the 30th of November.
