Overview

The Arena Theatre is an amazing performing arts space in University of Wolverhampton's city campus, playing host to both professional touring shows and for local community groups throughout the year.

Meeting monthly in the Tilstone Studio, Arena Collaborative Theatre (ACT) is your chance to get your work seen in Wolverhampton.

ACT follows a basic scratch night format where local theatremakers can share anywhere between 5 and 40 minutes of any work-in-progress, at any stage of the creative process. They are open to submissions from writers, directors and devisers, as well as dancers, storytellers and any other performing artist.

Arena can help you find other creatives to bring your work to the stage for these evenings. Attendance is FREE and the audience is often made up of local writers, actors, producers, directors and other theatremakers meaning that the feedback is informed and detailed.

Submissions for ACT are always open. Email details of your project to neil.reading@wlv.ac.uk.
