Overview

We’ll get you off the couch and running 5k in just nine weeks! We’ll be following the Couch 2 5k programme, which you can download onto your phone. The programme suggests you run 3 times a week and we’re here to help you complete one of these weekly runs.

This is a beginner’s running group, so don’t worry if you’ve never ran before- this is the place to start! Make sure you wear trainers and comfortable clothes. We will meet in the SU reception. You will be required to fill in a questionnaire about your physical health on your first time joining the group. Please arrive 5 minutes earlier to allow for this. The group is facilitated by Heather, who is a qualified England Athletics run leader.
