Overview

No matter how large or small the issue the Samaritans are here to listen. The Samaritans provide support and a listening ear to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide.

The Samaritan’s provide support students on a one to one basis every Thursday at Walsall SU. These sessions are an hour long and need to be booked in advance through either the Walsall SU Bar & Café staff, emailing our Well@Wolves Coordinator Heather on Heather.Lomax@wvl.ac.uk or directly with the Samaritans by emailing walsallsamaritansoutreach@gmail.com. There are 6 slots available each week.

The Samaritans also run a national listening line. It’s staffed around the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This number is free to call. You don't have to be suicidal to call them. Their listening line is 116 123.
