Diwali Utsav Sitaron Ke Sang

Saturday 11 November 2017, 7:30pm - 9pm
Arena Theatre, Wulfruna St, Wolverhampton WV1 1SE

'Sitaron Ke Sang', a radiant brightness the stars illuminate in their togetherness, refers to Diwali as the Indian festival of lights.

Diwali celebrates the joyous commencement of the new year. It marks the start of beginnings, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. This globally celebrated festival is a time when families and friends come together for goodwill, feasting, fireworks and dancing.

All are welcome to come and join us in celebrating this fantastic diverse festival!

Our event in celebration of Diwali also coincided with the UK-India Year of Culture 2017, marking 70 years of Indian Independence.

This uplifting, family friendly event will include performances by: Aaja Nachle Let's Dance, Gabhru Panjab De, Jai Jashn Dance, Showmi Das, Jaivant Patel Dance, Swati Dance Company, Ankura Dance Group, Bollywood Dreams Dance, Odissi Movement Company, Aishani Ghosh, Abirami Eswar, Lakshmi Srinivasan, RSA Academy and Desi Nach*
