Join us for a showcase of the best student films from the University's School of Media. The screening of live-action and animated short films will be accompanied by discussions with the directors, producers and animators, giving an opportunity to learn about the art of making films on a shoestring budget - and a chance to meet the film-makers of tomorrow.
The event will be attended by special guests from the fields of animation, film and television, who will give feedback and an award for the best film.
Previous students who contributed to the annual Meet The Directors have gone on to win major awards, such as the prestigious Royal Television Society Student Awards. Five years since its inception, Meet The Directors is now bigger than ever, and this year takes place in the main auditorium of the Arena Theatre.
Refreshments will be provided.
