Making the University Experience Great Again (#MUEGA)

Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that actually work, my name is Imade Ekunwe, i am currently studying Health and Social Care and it  is with great enthusiasm and dedication that I present myself  as a candidate for the position of Vice President Community and Welfare.

Embarking on a transformative journey together! As your VP for Community and Welfare, I'm committed to igniting a campus-wide movement of unity and support. From launching the first-ever university fashion show, celebrating our students' creativity, to revamping the Student Union Awards for greater recognition and impact, every initiative will reflect our shared values of inclusivity and empowerment.

But that's just the beginning.Aside city campus, i envision Telford and Walsall campuses as hubs of vibrant activity, fostering student bonding through an array of exciting events and initiatives. And mark your calendars for the ultimate highlight: SU Week, a ground-breaking celebration of our diverse community. From intercontinental cultural days to community-building conferences, we'll create unforgettable moments that resonate with every student.

My experience in community building activities, and deep commitment in enhancing the university experience for every student serves as a reliable foundation to run for this position. As a student ambassador, I have demonstrated my affinity for community building through my experience as a volunteer at the university chaplaincy, where I am currently hosting a cultural day celebration to foster harmony between different student groups in the university by showcasing the rich culture through food. Within my faculty and course, I have demonstrated influence and the ability to lead welfare activities, and it is for this reason I want to apply these skills in serving the wider student community.

Together, let's redefine what it means to belong, and this will be known as the PROJECT NEW IMAGE. Let us build a stronger, more inclusive university community where every student can thrive and succeed , Your voice, your vision, our future.

Join me, and let's make our university experience truly extraordinary

Your vote for Imade is a vote for a brighter future for all. Thank you.
