Uniting students, driving progress

Inspiring, Innovative, Initiative

This is Mohammad Shahriar Kabir and I am an LLB(law)Hons student. Today, I am excited to announce my candidacy for the position of president of the student union. As a student myself, I know firsthand the unique challenges we face daily, from balancing coursework and extracurricular activities to managing our mental health and well-being. But I also believe that we have the power to create positive changes that will benefit our entire university community, and I am committed to working with you to make that happen.

If I am elected, I will bring a student-centred approach to the position of president, prioritizing initiatives that support our mental and physical health, build a stronger sense of community, improve academic resources, advocate for our needs, and empower us to take on leadership roles. I believe that every student has the potential to make a difference, and I am committed to creating opportunities for all of us to grow and thrive.

•I will work to improve the mental health of the students.

•I will try to reduce the cost of food for students.

•I will try to improve the indoor sports facilities of the student union.

•I will try to make the university more attractive
for students with disabilities.

Thank you for considering my candidacy, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas about how we can work together to create a more vibrant and supportive university community.

Sincerely,
Mohammad Shahriar Kabir
