OLUKOREDE OYEWOGA

I am here to make the world a better place!

Introduction

My name is Olukorede Oyewoga and I am currently an international Masters student studying Data Science at the University of Wolverhampton. Aside from being a student, I am a marketing professional and love sports and music. I am very warm, cool-headed, mature, smart, and approachable. I love meeting new people and making friends.

Why I want to be on the council

I would love to be a student council rep because as a former student’s rep during my undergraduate days, I believe I have what it takes to represent and speak on behalf of students at the university.

During my undergraduate days, I was actively involved in student-related activities including being a student representative, a member of my department’s football team, and a member of AIESEC International.

I was also the Publicity officer for the Mayflower Old Students Association (MOSA), an old student’s association of the popular Mayflower School Ikenne Ogun State Nigeria. The association has over 60,000 alumni across the world. I was awarded for my meritorious service after his tenure in office.

I love to help people and make an impact everywhere I go; this is one reason why I recently signed up as a volunteer at the British Heart Foundation.
