What experience do you have that will help you in this role?
I have been a course rep and faculty rep over the past few years. Furthermore I have previously taken part in youth parliament, this I am able to reach a suitable compromise whilst debating motions in parliament.
What made you want to nominate yourself for this position?
I am an enthusiastic individual with a strong and diligent persona. This will enable me to voice the policies and opinions of our SU at conference, whilst critically holding other NUS leaders to account.
How would you engage with students before representing them nationally at NUS Conference?
I would liaise with student groups over policies and motions that concerned our students so that we are able to vote accordingly at conference.
Describe a time you created change or had a positive impact that benefited other people.
I have seen change occur in the faculty of science and engineering due to my representation. This has benefitted students across the board with regards to their experience and exams, I wish to bring a greater change to the bigger student body.
