MISS BACARDI JAMES

What experience do you have that will help you in this role?

I have worked in various different roles in my work life varying from team member to a lead team member all in the entertainment industry leading a team of individuals it was my job to inspire confidence. I have effective communication, I'm fair and respectful. I lead a team towards out common goal.

What made you want to nominate yourself for this position?

As my time as a course rep I realised I wanted to help more and take on the extra responsibility of Faculty Rep. Since being a fresher, I have seen how the faculty works and how it develops better under the delegation of the students. I wish to see the changes and future development of my faculty.

What do you think is the biggest issue students face in your faculty and how would you try to help resolve it?

I think the biggest issue for students is module registration as most of the courses left it until the final week to publish the module timetable and the main guide of what modules are available to the students. Communication of this could've have been better between students and teachers.

Describe a time you created change or had a positive impact that benefited other people.

Unfortunately I have not yet much volunteering I plan to change that. The time I created positive change would be with my sister you developed a fear of swimming after nearly drowning at our local pool. She planned a holiday to Ibiza and I helped her learn how to swim and overcome her fear.
