Why should students vote for you & how would you change their student experience for the better?:
As a representative, I would continue to be the unequivocal voice of the postgraduate research students, and ensure that the students’ needs and challenges are channeled to the appropriate authorities for prompt action. If voted for, I would ensure continuity of the introduced supervisory peer assessment for students, to ensure that students get the best out of their supervisory team in terms of availability, quality of inputs and positive criticism of research. I would continue the struggle for the provision of printing paper and ink as well as tea and coffee for the research offices. I would also ensure that the student mentoring scheme which is in progress would be fortified as the feedback obtained has been favourable.
