Wolves SU Welcome Week 2026 Giveaway – Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is University of Wolverhampton Students’ Union, Ambika Paul (MD) Building, Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1LY.

2. Eligibility
The prize draw is open to current students of the University of Wolverhampton who have an active Instagram account.
Employees of University of Wolverhampton Students’ Union who are directly involved in administering the promotion, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
The Students’ Union may request reasonable evidence of current University of Wolverhampton student status before awarding a prize.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
3. Promotion Period
The promotion opens when the official giveaway post is published on the @wolvesu Instagram account.
Entries close at 11:59pm BST on Sunday 20 September 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be included.
4. How to Enter
Participants can access the official giveaway through either:
- one of the promotional QR codes displayed during Welcome Week; or
- the direct giveaway link shared by Wolves SU.
Both methods direct participants to the same official Instagram giveaway.
To submit a valid entry, participants must:
- Follow @wolvesu on Instagram;
- Like the official Welcome Week Giveaway post; and
- Tag another University of Wolverhampton student in the comments on the giveaway post.
Scanning a QR code or opening the giveaway link does not by itself constitute an entry. Participants must complete the Instagram entry requirements above.
Only genuine Instagram accounts and genuine entries will be accepted.
One valid entry per Instagram account will be included in the prize draw. Duplicate comments or repeated tagging will not create additional entries.
5. Prizes
There are three prizes and three winners:
- One £100 Amazon Voucher
- One Echo Dot (5th Gen) Smart Speaker
- One Beats Solo 4 Wireless Headphones
Each winner will receive one prize.
The three prizes will be allocated randomly between the three selected winners.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
Where a particular product becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with an item of equivalent or greater value.
The Amazon Voucher is subject to Amazon’s applicable gift card terms and conditions.
6. Winner Selection
Following the closing date, three winners will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries.
A verifiably random computerised selection process will be used and the Promoter will retain appropriate evidence of the selection process.
7. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted by the official @wolvesu Instagram account during the week commencing 21 September 2026.
Wolves SU will never ask a winner to pay a fee or provide bank or card details in order to receive a prize.
Winners may be asked to provide their name and reasonable evidence confirming that they are a current University of Wolverhampton student.
A winner should respond within 48 hours of being contacted. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stated period or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
8. Winner Announcement
The Promoter may announce the winners through the @wolvesu Instagram account after winner eligibility has been confirmed.
9. Personal Information
Personal information supplied in connection with the promotion will only be used where necessary to administer the prize draw, verify eligibility, contact winners and arrange delivery or collection of prizes, in accordance with the Students’ Union’s applicable privacy policies and data protection obligations.
10. General
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, automated, misleading, abusive or otherwise fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary, provided entrants are treated fairly.
11. Instagram and Prize Brands
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.
By entering, participants acknowledge that Instagram has no responsibility for the administration of the promotion or fulfilment of the prizes and release Instagram from responsibility relating to the promotion to the extent permitted by law.
