The Dance Society was created with three core aims:
1) To create additional practical class opportunities for those studying a performing arts degree
2) To encourage those with a passion or interest for dance to continue training
3) To encourage complete beginners to try something new
The dance society encourages all ages and abilities to join and no dance experience is neccessary! We hope to provide regular classes primarily in styles such as Commercial Dance and Contemporary, with additional opportunities including social events and masterclasses with industry professionals.
The academic year will see the birth of two classes a week:
Wednesdays: 2 - 4pm Thursdays: 5 - 7pm
Currently these classes are held at Walsall Campus in Dance Studio WH201, with potential to have some ran over at City
