We are a network of students across the various campuses of the University of Wolverhampton who love God and seek to live by the principles of the Bible.
Adventist Students Society
The Adventist Students Society is a welcoming community for students across the University of Wolverhampton who want to build friendships, explore faith and enjoy meaningful conversations in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Rooted in Christian values and the teachings of the Bible, the society brings together Adventist students as well as students from other faiths or no religious background. Everyone is welcome to attend, get involved and take part at a level they feel comfortable with.
What We Do
We aim to hold a weekly Friday get-together, giving students the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and take part in a range of activities and discussions.
Sessions may include:
Social activities and informal meet-ups
Interactive discussions around faith, life and wellbeing
Bible study and religious discussion
Health and wellbeing presentations
Friendship and peer support
Team-building activities
Trips and social events
Spiritual mentorship and accountability partnerships
We also plan to organise occasional larger health, social and faith-based events across University campuses, sometimes featuring guest speakers who will present or lead discussions on selected themes and topics.
Our Aims
University life can be exciting and full of new experiences, but it can also sometimes feel lonely, challenging or overwhelming.
Our aim is to create a supportive “home away from home” where students can build genuine friendships, feel part of a community and have people around them who they can connect with throughout their university journey.
Through friendship, fellowship, social activities and meaningful discussion, we want to create a positive environment where students can support one another, grow personally and spiritually, and enjoy their time at Wolverhampton.
