Paramedic Society is a welcoming community for student paramedics across all years of study at the University of Wolverhampton.

Our society gives students a space to meet others on the course, revise together, share experiences and build confidence throughout their studies. Whether you are just starting out or further along in your training, Paramedic Society is here to help create a friendly and supportive environment.

We want to bring student paramedics together, celebrate the course and showcase the opportunities that a career as a paramedic can offer.

What We Do

Paramedic Society will run a range of academic, social and fundraising activities throughout the year.

Our activities include:

• Revision sessions and peer support for student paramedics

• Monthly CPD events with guest speakers

• Fundraising events every two months

• Opportunities to meet students from different years of the course

• Events that showcase the role of a paramedic and future career pathways

Our Aims

Paramedic Society aims to build a stronger community across the paramedic course and create more opportunities for students to connect, learn and support one another.

We want to:

• Help student paramedics meet others across different year groups

• Support revision, learning and shared course experiences

• Build a friendly and welcoming society community

• Showcase what the paramedic role can offer

• Grow engagement and involvement across the course

Costs and Events

CPD events will usually cost £2 per person.

Fundraising events will usually cost £5 per person, with funds supporting society activities, causes and future events.

We aim to keep events affordable and accessible so as many students as possible can get involved.
