About Us:
Welcome to NursSoc, the official society for student nurses within the University of Wolverhampton. NursSoc is founded on the guiding principle of belonging, bringing together nursing students from all fields, campuses and years - including the foundation year. Studying nursing can be intense, so this society creates opportunities for support, connection, and development with people who truly understand the journey. Our goal is to create an accessible and supportive academic community for all nursing students.
What We Do:
NursSoc members can enjoy a mixture of supportive, social, and development events, such as:
• Meet and Greet - Hosted by your Student Representatives
• Networking and Peer Support Events - Hosted by your NursSoc Committee
• Academic and Research Support Sessions - Hosted by your Academic Team
• CAMHL (Child, Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability) Conferences - Hosted by Internal and External Guest Speakers
Our Aims:
• Have a voice - Meet with your Student Representatives
• Unite all nursing students - All campuses, fields and years are welcome
• Develop academic and research skills - Join extracurricular academic and research support sessions
• Something new - Hear from expert guest speakers at our CAMHL Conferences
