Reggae & Dub Club presents: EXODUS MOVEMENT with STAR LITE & CPTN
Celebrating Black History Month
For this special Black History Month edition of Reggae & Dub Club, EXODUS Movement brings together Wolverhampton sound system culture for a night of roots, reggae and dub at the University of Wolverhampton.
Created by EXODUS Movement, Reggae & Dub Club is about keeping roots and sound system culture alive — bringing people together through music, heavyweight bass and conscious vibrations.
For this session, EXODUS have invited legendary Wolverhampton sound system Starlite, with both EXODUS and Starlite bringing their own sound systems for a heavyweight night celebrating the city’s sound system heritage.
Also joining them is CPTN (Captain) — a Wolverhampton-raised, London-based DJ and cultural curator with deep roots in reggae, dancehall, soul and sound-system culture, whose selections have taken him across the UK and internationally.
Expect roots, dub, heavyweight bass and sound-system energy — one for the steppers.
There’ll also be Caribbean cuisine, merchandise and drinks promotions available throughout the night.
