Student Voices Matter—Let’s Build a Better Tomorrow!

Hello everyone, my name is Fayas, studing MSc in Construction Project Management.

As a passionate student committed to enhancing the university experience for everyone, I am excited to run for a position on the Student Council. If elected, my goal will be to ensure that all students at the University of Wolverhampton feel represented, supported, and empowered to voice their opinions.

I will focus on the following key areas:

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Support: Mental health is a critical issue, and I will push for more accessible and inclusive mental health services, ensuring every student has access to the support they need to thrive.
  • Enhancing Campus Facilities and Services: I will advocate improvements to campus infrastructure, such as better study spaces, enhanced Wi-Fi, and affordable food options, making our learning and social environments more conducive to success.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Climate change is a growing concern,I will campaign for more sustainable practices, such as reducing waste, increasing recycling options, and promoting green energy on campus.
  • Student Representation and Inclusivity: I am committed to making sure all students, whether local or international, undergraduate or postgraduate are heard. I will work to bridge the gap between students, the SU, and university leadership to ensure decisions reflect our community.

By voting for me, you are voting for someone who is dedicated to making real, positive changes on behalf of all students. Let’s work together to create a supportive, and inclusive university experience for everyone.

Vote for me, and let’s make our voices count!
