Who is a Rep and what do they do?
At Wolves SU, your voice matters. We work with the University of Wolverhampton to make sure students are listened to, valued, and supported. Sharing your experiences helps shape real changes – from improving your course to making student life better for everyone.
That’s where the Student Voice team comes in. It’s a team of students who make sure every voice is heard across the University.
Here’s how it works:
-
You and your classmates share feedback with your Course Reps. There are around 450 Course Reps across the University who volunteer to gather feedback and raise it with lecturers and staff in regular meetings.
-
Faculty Reps support all the Course Reps within their Faculty. They look at the bigger picture, join up feedback from different courses, and make sure common issues are pushed forward.
-
Sabbatical Officers are full-time elected student leaders. They work with Faculty Reps to take your voice to the very top of the University and fight for the changes students want to see.
-
Community Organisers help connect everything back to the wider student community — making sure campaigns, projects, and events reflect what matters most to you.
This creates a clear chain: Students → Course Reps → Faculty Reps → Sabbatical Officers → University Leaders.
Nothing gets lost — your voice travels all the way through and is used to make a real impact.
