Feedback is your chance to share what student life is really like — whether that’s something you’d like to see improved or something that’s already working well and should stay the same. It could be about your course, campus facilities, events, or any part of the student experience. Sharing feedback helps us make positive changes and celebrate what’s going right.
If you’re talking about experiences that affect students as a group — like teaching quality, accessibility, or social spaces — that’s feedback. If it’s something personal, such as finances, housing, wellbeing, or academic concerns, then it’s not feedback, but you’re not alone. Our Advice Centre offers confidential, one-to-one support — find out more here.
Anytime! You don’t need to wait until something goes wrong. Tell us when things are working well so we can protect and build on them, and let us know when something could be better so we can push for change. Your voice helps shape a better university experience for everyone.

What happens next?

When you share feedback with us, it doesn’t just sit in a box — we listen, record it, and decide the best way to take it forward. Depending on what you raise, we might:

  • Pass it directly to the relevant department or service at the University
  • Raise it with senior leaders to push for bigger changes
  • Work with Community Organisers, Course Reps, or Officers to campaign around it
  • Share it back with students so everyone can see what’s being done

Some issues can be sorted quickly, while others — especially those that involve wider change — might take weeks or even months to resolve. If it feels like you haven’t heard anything, don’t worry. You can always get in touch with the Student Voice team directly by emailing studentvoice.wolvesunion@wlv.ac.uk to check in on the progress.

Your feedback really does make a difference — sometimes it’s about fixing things, sometimes it’s about improving them, and often it’s about protecting the things you value most.
