We’re here to make sure every student feels part of the Wolverhampton community. Our Community Organisers bring students together, celebrate diversity, and make your voice heard.
Community Organisers lead and support key events and campaigns like Black History Month, LGBT+ Awareness Month and more. They listen to feedback from students, represent your views, and help create change across the University. They also help run activities, celebrate your achievements, and make sure every student has a space to belong.
Whether you need a supportive community, want to share your experiences, or have an idea for change, Community Organisers are here to help. They connect you with others, champion your voice to the University, and make sure you can access the support and opportunities you need to thrive.
It’s simple — join one of our student communities! You can come along to events, share your feedback, or even campaign on the issues that matter to you. If you’re passionate about representing students, you can also apply to become a Community Organiser yourself and help shape the Wolverhampton student experience.
University is for everyone — but not everyone experiences it in the same way. That’s why we have dedicated communities at the Students’ Union, led and supported by Community Organisers. These groups are safe, welcoming spaces where students can connect, share experiences, and campaign for change.
We’ve chosen communities that reflect the voices of underrepresented and diverse student groups at Wolverhampton, including: International Students, Global Majority, LGBTQ+, Students with Disabilities, Mature Students, Parents, Commuter Students, Postgraduate Researchers (PGR), and Women. Together, they form a network of support, celebration, and student-led action.
