The Mature Students’ Society at the University of Wolverhampton is a welcoming community for students returning to education or studying as mature learners across all courses and disciplines.
We understand that coming back to university can feel different and sometimes challenging, so our society exists to help you connect with others, share experiences, and build friendships and professional networks in a relaxed and supportive environment.
What We Do
Our activities are designed to support both your university journey and your wider goals, including:
Social events
Opportunities to relax, chat, and meet other mature students in a friendly setting.
Study support and check ins
Monthly meet ups where members can share advice, tips, and encouragement around balancing study, work, and life commitments.
Career focused meetups
Sessions focused on employability, confidence, and professional networking.
End of semester events
A chance to celebrate achievements and reflect on the term together.
