The society brings diverse students together to explore global affairs and develop future leaders through debates, events, and Model UN.
Engage. Debate. Lead.
The International Relations Society at the University of Wolverhampton brings together students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds with a shared passion for global affairs. Our mission is to foster future leaders and diplomats through debates, events, and Model UN activities — turning academic insight into real-world impact.
We create engaging opportunities for students to connect, learn, and grow through a variety of thought-provoking activities, including:
International Relations Conference – Connecting with Global Thinkers (Annual) A flagship event uniting experts, academics, and students to discuss today’s most pressing international challenges.
Flag Day & Model UN (Date TBC) A vibrant celebration of international diversity paired with hands-on diplomacy through UN-style simulations.
Trip to a UK Global Site (Date TBC) Experience global affairs in action with a visit to an influential international institution.
Student Interactive Session – Current Affairs Debate A lively platform to debate world issues, strengthen communication, and deepen understanding of global dynamics.
Promote Global Awareness – Encourage informed discussion of international relations, politics, and diplomacy.
Develop Future Leaders – Build confidence, critical thinking, and leadership through engaging experiences.
Create a Global Community – Unite students from all backgrounds in a spirit of collaboration, curiosity, and respect.
Whether you’re passionate about diplomacy, eager to debate, or simply curious about world affairs, the International Relations Society is the perfect place to expand your horizons, share ideas, and make a global impact.
