About Us

BCS Student Chapter Society

Innovate. Connect. Code.

The BCS Student Chapter Society at the University of Wolverhampton is an official student branch of the British Computer Society (The Chartered Institute for IT). We aim to bring together students with an interest in computing, technology, and innovation to collaborate, learn, and prepare for careers in the digital world.

Our society provides a platform for students from all computing-related courses to share knowledge, network with professionals, and explore emerging technologies in a supportive, community-driven environment.

  • Tech Talks & Hackathons – Collaborate on creative coding challenges and showcase your innovative ideas.

  • Networking & Mentoring – Build connections with peers and professionals across the IT and computing community.

  • Social Events – Relax, meet like-minded students, and celebrate milestones together.
