SOCAP (society of criminology and policing)
Explore. Discuss. Connect.
Welcome to WLV SOCAP, the official Criminology and Policing Society at the University of Wolverhampton. Our society is an outlet for anyone interested in criminology, policing, and the criminal justice system — whether you study these subjects or simply find them fascinating.
We aim to create a safe and inclusive space where aspiring criminologists and policing students can come together to share ideas, discuss topics, and socialise in a relaxed, friendly environment.
We’re already planning a range of exciting events throughout the year, including:
Halloween Events & Quiz Nights – Fun themed evenings to test your knowledge and unwind.
Lunch Discussions & Coffee Breaks – Informal meetups to share opinions and explore key issues in criminology and policing.
Karaoke & Social Events – A chance to relax, have fun, and build friendships.
Seasonal Activities – Year-round events to connect like-minded students and grow our community.
Provide an outlet for discussion about criminology, policing, and justice.
Create a supportive and inclusive community for students to socialise and learn.
Help members explore their interests and develop insight into careers in the criminal justice system.
Join WLV SOCAP to connect with others who share your passion for criminology and policing — a space to learn, grow, and have fun along the way.
