Know a fellow student who deserves to be celebrated, a student staff member who goes above and beyond, or a lecturer who has supported you this year? This is your chance to highlight their achievements as we unveil our annual Students’ Union Awards.

From first year to doctoral students, we would love you to have your say. Nominate across as many categories as you can to honour those who have made a difference to your student life.

How to nominate

  • Please use the nomination form below
  • You must be a student to nominate
  • Complete the nomination form and include your student number for each category you nominate

See the awards criteria for each category below. Please only nominate students for student categories, and lecturers or University staff for the correct staff categories.

What happens next

Nominations

You have until Thursday 17th April at midnight to nominate. Please include accurate details of which School a lecturer or staff member is part of.

Shortlisting and invitations

From April 18 panels will shortlist nominations.
From April 21 shortlisted nominees will be contacted by email.
Thursday, May 22 winners will be announced during the awards night at Chancellors Hall.

Shortlisted nominees will be invited to the event so winners can pick up their trophy. Please keep the date free.

  • Is passionate about their role and wants the best experience for students on the course

  • Gives thorough updates on the outcome of actions to students on their course
  • Is easy to approach and attentive to peers' needs and comments

 

School rep of the year Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Studies
