Throughout February we had a range of events to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month.
February was a very busy month with a range of event held my the Students' Union who held a quiz takeover and a movie night in walsall, a drag show and Pride night in which was to end the celebrations of the month with a UV rave.
Just want to say thank you to the LGBTQ+ society for putting on tea and chats sessions at all three campuses, helping me orgainse the events and attending all events. Also a thank you to the Wave theory society for DJing at the event.
From the drag show and pride night we raised £140 for the X2Y charity which is a local youth group that creates a safe space and a sense of community for people between the ages of 11-25 who are LGBTQ+.
