WELCOME 2023

Welcome 2023 is here and we hope you're just as excited as we are!

We have been working hard to ensure that your Students' Union reflects your wants, makes you feel comfortable and gives you a space to be proud of. We want to make your University journey the best it can possibly be!

After listening to your suggestions we have transformed our Students' Union, giving you two brand new exciting facilities that everyone can enjoy. Deli Moon is our fantastic new food and drink facility offering freshly made subs, light snacks, hot and cold beverages. Opening times are 8am till 4pm daily.

Our second addition is our vibrant bar Luna lounge. This will offer a range of varied events throughout the year and is open daily. Opening times are Midday till 11 pm, with varied extended hours for special events.

About Your Student Union

We represent your student journey! As a registered charity, we operate independently from the University, and you can find us on the ground floor of the Learning Hub building.

Our organisation is student-led and supported by volunteers and staff. Our primary goal is to enhance your University experience, making it enriching, satisfying, and unforgettable.

Upon enrolling at the University of Wolverhampton, you automatically become a member of the Students' Union. This grants you access to a wide range of services and opportunities, including complimentary sports and societies, welfare assistance, guidance and support, as well as representation.

Your Sabbatical Team

The Sabbatical Team is led by the President, with each member chosen by students in the annual Elections. As well as our President, we have three Vice Presidents, each looking after specific areas within the Students' Union.

As the Union's elected representatives, your Officers, are speaking for you and every student at the University of Wolverhampton – so make sure they know what is important to you by getting in touch with them!

We have carefully selected our welcome events to give you the best understanding about what your Students' Union offers!

From Freshers' Fair to the opening of our new lounge and Bar, we welcome you to join in on all of the events. Come on down to the Luna lounge to enjoy a drink with your friends, or see what other events Students’ Union has to offer.

Freshers' Fair

Our welcome fair is always one of the best events for new students, it gives you the oppurtunity to get involved with lots of stalls every day to visit.

This is the best chance for you to gather information about your SU, meet the Officers who will be representing you for the academic year, sign up for our sports and societies, discover new interests, and even grab yourself some free stuff!

There will also be a range of commercial companies and charities attending the Freshers' Fair, this will help you get to learn more about businesses and charities in the area you may want to explore.

This year, our Freshers' Fair will be taking place on Monday, September 25th between 10am - 3pm

Luna lounge Pub Quiz

We are proud to announce the oppening of our brand new Luna lounge!

We will be hosting events here throughout the year so make sure you keep up to date here to see all the events we have going on.

The Pub Quiz will be a great opportunity to showcase your general knowledge expertise and get to know some of your fellow students too! Come on down to the Luna lounge on Tuesday, September 26th from 7pm until 9pm to participate.
