I have hayfever and woke up with a blocked nose, streaming eyes, sore throat, and my typical hellish hayfever symptoms. From the very overpowering smell of grass and the consistent noise of the strimmer, I realised that the grass was being cut and sure enough I looked outside to see the grass being mown. I usually sleep with my window open; one quick email with just a little bit of warning so I could take my meds and shut my window would be great. It goes on for hours and the symptoms worsen. It’s not pleasant. Please warn all the students in halls when the grass is going to be cut.
