By the very definition, the social space is supposed to be social and not exclusive. Now that the SU is finally starting to get some life back into it with the table tennis and football tables, as well as the food area by The Venue, it seems unfair that these spaces are not always accessible to students. There are plenty of University rooms that can be booked when both The Venue and The Boardroom are occupied.

2:11pm on 18 Mar 19 I disagree with this petition. Yes, the social space is there for all students but if a society has pre-booked an area then it's fair they get to use it. Pre-planned events should take priority over spontaneous plans. I do agree with Samuel Ord though. Maybe the space could be split into multiple segments to allow multiple events to go on at once

11:35am on 18 Mar 19 I kind of agree with this - certain societies keep getting too territorial over the social space every week, and it's affecting other societies, and their one-off events.

2:35pm on 14 Mar 19 Societies rely on booking the social space. It could be split into sections though, it's huge.

2:22pm on 14 Mar 19 This would be great so long as the societies that currently book the social space are given alternative venues to be held at.
