The postage slips are absolutely futile. I have had emails saying my parcel is ready for collection, and yet I can’t access it until a slip comes through in the post, even with a Valid Form of ID. What can be more trustworthy than proof of birth? The slips being necessary for pick up needs to stop; ID should be enough. Postage slips can be sent out at 3-4pm, it’s not always possible to collect them if you are out that day (at uni etc). The slips should be a notification of a parcel, not a collection ticket. The slips have frequently gone missing, they’ve simply slide out or never even got delivered...but until they come through we can’t collect.

It should also be open at weekends (limited hours); and Students willing to earn a bit of extra money could easily do this; it’d be great experience for the student and beneficial for the University.

A member of staff is also another issue. One member of staff is incredibly rude in the MX Building; [this member of staff] has frequently talked down to myself and other students, and is lacking a lot of compassion. I went to collect a parcel and was told to come back later as she was eating even though it was pouring with rain. The whole current postal system at the university is extremely poor and needs change.

1:14pm on 26 Feb 19 I have ordered things that have had No confirmation of arrival by Email. in the proposed system there is no capacity for this. Additionally the sending out of slips at 3-4pm would make it impossible to pick thing up on the day they are delivered, I would agree that the requirement for a slip is rather frustrating. And should not be required, however the slips should remain as a method of alerting students.
