We all pay £1.5k+ to stay in Halls of Residence per term. For some of us, it uses up even more of our maintenance loan than we get. And the price of clean clothes could surely be included in that. To wash your clothes on campus, it costs £5 a go. If you have £4.50 on your account, you have to add another £5. This is extortionate. The amount of rent we pay should at least allow us all to have cheaper, or free launderette services. I have had to choose between food and clean laundry and chosen laundry on more than one occasion. Not eating is obviously not healthy. These are basic human needs, and we should not be charged quite that much for a single load of washing and drying.

5:50pm on 22 Jan 19 To Sukhdeep Dhesi, I want to be able to wash my clothes and have enough money for myself for food and other essentials that I need during the week. I don’t need it in the kitchen, location isn’t an issue. I’m happy to go to the laundrette. However, £5 each go is extortionate. Why should I have to handwash my clothes when I’m sure you do not and when I’m paying £102 a week on rent?

2:13pm on 21 Jan 19 The app is absolutely horrible and deleted my balance multiple times when I still had money on it.

3:56pm on 18 Jan 19 No accommodation ever has a washing machine in the comfort of your spacious kitchen, that's for houses, if you want nice clean clothes every time, handwash in the sink and get an indoor rotary washing line ;)

11:11am on 15 Jan 19 £5 a go!? I pay that for a box of detergent. Whoever voted against this needs a long hard look at themselves.

5:54pm on 13 Jan 19 99% of the time the app doesn’t work anyway.
