I, along with possibly many other students, frequently end up with a large number of £1 and £2 coins in my wallet, but very few smaller value coins (£0,50, £0,20, £0,10), which makes it difficult to pay the bus driver on the way into or the way home from uni in exact change or close to it. Sometimes, especially in the early morning, the driver does not have enough change to cover the difference between my fare and what I have paid his/her cash boxes or cash bag. None of the bus operators that I use accept contactless cards, and Swift Cards are not valid for my journey to/from uni.

Therefore, I would like for the Union or the Uni to install a machine where I can change a few large denomination coins and possibly £5,- banknotes to smaller denomination coins.

Install a change machine in the SU reception, MC catering area or MB reception
