This Idea for Change wass passed to the Student Change team for action:

  • 23 Jan 2019: Microwaves are being purchased by the Students' Union for the following areas:
    • MU 2nd floor
    • Telford SA201
    • Walsall Go Lounge 
    • WP Building
  • 23 Jan 2019: We hope to update you further before 13 Feb 2019
  • 18 Feb 2019: The microwaves have arrived at the SU and are awaiting distribution to the areas listed above. There are currently two microwaves and a kettle in the SU, which are specifically for student use. Coversations have also been ongoing with the library services who are also considering self-serve food spaces in to each level of their space. We hope to update you further before 01 March 2019
  • 25 Feb 2019: A microwave is on the 5th floor of the MU building, in the kitchenette area that also has access to hot water. A microwave is also in the Telford SU area, which students can access 24/7. The two microwaves for Walsall are awaiting distribution. We hope to update you further before 08 March 2019. 
  • 11 March 2019: The microwaves for Walsall should be arriving on the 15 March 2019. 
  • 17 April 2019: The microwave for Walsall is up and running in the Go Lounge.

1:26pm on 25 Oct 18 If you mean at City Campus: There's a microwave is the Student's Union - as you walk in, just past reception. In terms of hot water, the black vending machine outside of the Harrison Learning Centre gives hot water if you choose 'option 72' I think.
