Explanation

A number of Students commence there second year within Allied Health from the 10th of September. The summer timetable bus is still in operation and many students were unable to utilise the bus service as they were not running as frequent. Meaning students missed the start of 9am lectures and the end of last lectures of the day.

  • 07 May 2019: The University has provided an update for this Idea: The summer timetable runs a reduced service in comparison to normal term time; the primary consideration for this is the actual amount of students using the service. In its current form, it runs between the hours of 9-5pm. The timetables current pattern allows for students to travel from City Campus to both Telford and Walsall campuses, arriving at 10am and returning back again at 1.15pm. Conversely, the services depart Telford and Walsall at 10am, arriving at City Campus at 11am before returning at 2.40pm. There are wider conversations taking place as to whether it can be scheduled at lectures take place between these times at the relevant campuses. We hope to provide further updates by 28 May 2019.
  • 11 Aug 2019: This Student Idea has expired as it did not meet the roll-over threshold for being worked on during the next academic year. This Idea had scored less than 30, and has not passed to the next academic year. #wolveschange
