4:15pm on 1 Oct 18 I used to work for asda. ID requirements for anything age restricted is just the same as the pubs and clubs no exceptions. Don't forget the rule there is challenge 25 if you look under 25 for any age restricted product you'll be asked for proper Govt ID A lot of students might not have driving licences or passports to hand. Your best bet is a citizen card https://www.citizencard.com/ Its a pretty straight forward and designed primarily for young people

10:18pm on 19 Sep 18 I spoke with Royal London today about this in passing, they said they don't accept ID unless it has the PASS hologram minimum.

4:21pm on 18 Sep 18 I can see this working in Asda or other pharmacies for medication, however not for pubs and clubs as it would have to hold the hologram to be legal to enter or purchase alcohol. Just putting D.O.B would be useless include the hologram! :)
