Study Well enhances your academic studying through workshops and activities. Study Well workshops ranges from pre-enrolment money management sessions to study skills to increasing your employability.
For academic concerns don’t be afraid to ask academic staff questions or ask for clarification if there is something you don’t understand. If you find yourself struggling with your academic work, ask a member of staff for help as soon as possible rather than leaving it to the last minute. The Student Union’s Advice and Support Centre (ASC) offers free professional, confidential and impartial advice in all areas related to being a student before, during and after your studies.
One of the best sources of support for your studies is other students. Talk to them as they may be experiencing similar concerns and you may be able to share information and study tips. We run a peer support mentoring programme where you can be a mentee or mentor.
To keep students safe on campus we provide a ‘walking bus’ at city campus which runs from 7pm to 7am.
