What is Wellbeing?

Well@Wolves encompasses all things health and wellbeing related and aims to help you to improve and/or maintain your health and wellbeing. Our sense of wellbeing is dynamic and can change from moment to moment and day to day. Someone with high levels of wellbeing generally feels relatively confident in themselves, able to feel and express a range of emotions, cope with the stresses of everyday life and can adapt in times of change and uncertainty.

Wellbeing and mental health are closely linked. If you experience low levels of wellbeing over a long period of time, you are more likely to develop a mental health problem. However, there are things that you can do that can improve you sense of wellbeing. Well@Wolves has a number of activities and events that you can come along to which will help your become more resilient and flourish. The service is available for all students to access. Keep an eye on the what’s on section for upcoming activities, workshops and events.
