The National Memorial Arboretum is a national charity that commemorates and celebrates those who have given their lives in the service of their country, all who have served and suffered as a result of conflict, and others who, for specific or appropriate reasons, are commemorated there.
This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.
Learning at the National Memorial Arboretum is changing. With a new learning strategy in place, more children and young people visiting and lots of new resources and activities, we need volunteers to join the dedicated team, helping us to develop and move forward with its plans. This position would suit a team player with excellent communication skills, who enjoys the chance to be out of doors, has a passion for working with children and young people of all ages, a desire to deliver learning in a variety of forms and enjoys exploring and leading others.
In addition, particular skills, expertise or interest in humanities, art and design, drama, citizenship, religious Education, English Literature and English Language or Special Educational Needs would be welcome. Location: Alrewas, Staffordshire
